Rallying point at Victoria Park where we will gather to march in support of calls to end systemic racism and police brutality. The march will leave at 8:00 pm from Victoria Park heading towards the Peace and Friendship Park, with a walk past Raymond Taavel Park. A candlelight vigil at the Peace and Friendship Park will be held in remembrance of QTBIPOC lives lost. We encourage participants to wear masks, carry signs, and bring a jar for a tealight (provided by Halifax Pride). Note, prior to the march Halifax Pride will host a sign-making session at the Garrison Grounds at 7:00 pm. Materials will be provided.

To support safer healthy spaces, attendees must:
- Stay 2 metres away from other people as much as possible, unless with a close social bubble of up to 10
- Wear a mask covering the nose and mouth
- Wash or sanitize hands often
- Cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow
- Refrain from attending in-person events if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms

Following the event, please complete a survey to help improve the Halifax Pride Festival, and for your chance to win a $100 Winners/Marshalls/HomeSense gift card.
